Job Description
The Syngene Analytical Scientist will be responsible for the preparation of samples, maintaining cleanliness in the lab, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Moreover, the role involves routine sample analysis using various analytical techniques, calibration of instruments, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in analytical workflows.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of samples.
- Maintain cleanliness of lab and instrumentation area.
- Overall adherence to safe practices and procedures.
- Compliance to Syngene’s quality standards.
- Routine sample analysis using HPLC, GC, LCMS, and moisture content.
- Calibration of analytical instruments.
- Follow the GDP for documents.
- Perform daily calibrations of analytical instruments and equipment as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in analytical workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with process development, quality, and manufacturing teams.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: 1-3 years.
- Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in chromatographic (HPLC, UPLC, GC), spectroscopic (NMR, MS, UV, IR), and other analytical techniques.
- Knowledge of ICH, GMP, GLP, and global regulatory guidelines.
- Experience supporting drug substance development from early phase to commercial manufacturing.
