Job Description
In these Lab Chemist Jobs, the QA Chemist will support field-based laboratory testing activities on a mobile laboratory van. This role involves traveling within the district, conducting chemical analyses, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining laboratory standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical testing and analysis in a mobile laboratory setup as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Travel regularly within the assigned district using the mobile lab van.
- Collect, handle, and test samples accurately and safely.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals, and testing instruments in proper working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
- Record test results, prepare reports, and submit findings to the concerned authorities or supervisors.
- Coordinate with field staff and local officials during sample collection and testing activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and logs related to testing and calibration.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent chemistry-related discipline.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in chemical analysis, laboratory testing, or field lab operations.
