Job Description

Among BSc Chemistry jobs in pharmaceutical quality control, this role involves supporting sampling, chemical analysis, and Chromatography, including HPLC and GC analysis, ensuring precise identification and quantification of results.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team lead in conducting Liquid Chromatography and Gas Chromatography.
  • Aid in literature surveys and develop HPLC and GC methods for API and Finished Dosage Form.
  • Execute method validations following approved protocols.
  • Perform calibration of analytical equipment as per SOP.
  • Support the team lead in preparation of analytical documents such as specifications and standard testing procedures (STPs).
  • Adhere to safety and cGLP guidelines and conduct equipment usage and maintenance as per procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

Technical Skills:

  • Sound knowledge of sampling and managing reserve sample management, and stability management.
  • Knowledge of calibration and performance verification of analytical instruments.
  • Good understanding of advanced instrumentation techniques.
  • Experience in maintenance and procurement of laboratory standards, chemicals, and solvents.
  • Participation in equipment/instrument qualifications and change control mechanisms.
  • Procurement expertise for laboratory requirements.

Behavioural Skills:

  • Attention to detail and commitment to compliance with QMS documents.
  • Ability to respond to internal and external audits.
  • Strong organisational skills for LIMS-related activities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
