Job Overview:
This QA QC Job is based in Vagra, Gujarat, and involves performing Quality Control testing activities for the Dahej Plant. - Work in rotational shifts and support in-process, finished goods sampling, and analysis during shift operations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for required analyses and maintain testing equipment.
- Ensure the operation and calibration of analytical instruments according to standard procedures.
- Manage QA/QC documentation and data related to quality and process inspections, including analysis of all raw materials, additives, and final products.
- Assist the QA/QC manager in implementing and complying with the Quality Management System and ISO 9001 standards at the Dahej plant.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments with service providers as per schedule, ensuring sample retention and housekeeping of the QC lab.
- Collaborate with internal plant teams to achieve site objectives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, preferably Analytical Chemistry, from a recognized university.
- Minimum work experience of 2 to 6 years in the chemical or polymer industry.
- Computer skills: Proficiency in MS Office, SAP QA Module, and statistical tools.
- Ability to handle sophisticated instruments like IR, Spectrometer, and X-ray Spectrometer.
Required Skills:
- Experience in analytical and physical testing for polymer compounds.
- Experience in batch operations and compounding, preferably with solid or powder materials.
- Strong knowledge of analytical instrumentation and laboratory practices.
