Job Description
The research associate will be responsible for executing, analyzing, and reviewing analytical work, including method development, pre-validation, validation, technology transfer, and analysis of stability samples. This role requires adherence to GxP practices while providing analytical support to Baxter Global and its contract manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform sample analysis, including analytical method development and validation for regulatory submissions.
- Test complex injectable samples, including API and stability samples, following appropriate methods of analysis.
- Maintain records of all activities related to product analysis and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Prepare and review analytical reports and SOPs according to GQP and current pharmacopoeia.
- Ensure compliance with GDP and ALCOA++ principles during testing and data recording.
- Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Report and investigate any deviations or non-compliance in results.
- Review stability programs and manage vendor approval processes for APIs and excipients.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience in analytical method development and validation.
- Strong knowledge of GxP regulations and Good Laboratory Practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in analytical techniques relevant to complex injectables.
