Job Overview:
As part of these Chemical Engineering Jobs, the selected candidate will lead analytical characterization activities using advanced mass spectrometry techniques for biologics, including monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and fusion proteins. The role involves method development, analytical data interpretation, laboratory management, instrument support, documentation, and collaboration
with cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, qualify, implement, and transfer new characterization methods.
- Handle samples for analysis using various analytical methods.
- Conduct data analysis and prepare analysis reports.
- Document experiments contemporaneously in an electronic lab notebook.
- Author technical reports and communicate key findings.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure adherence to 5S guidelines in the lab area.
- Support breakdown management of downstream equipment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong background in mass spectrometry for characterization of biologics.
- Experience in quantitative mass spectrometry.
- Ability to learn quickly and maintain a positive attitude.
- Experience as a team lead and in method development.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
Required Skills:
- Experience in MS methods to guide a sub-team effectively.
- Familiarity with electronic lab notebooks and EDMS.
- Experience with TrackWise is preferable but not mandatory.
Education:
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Life Science, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
