The Process R&D Chemist role at Zenfold involves supporting process development trials, reaction monitoring, and scale-up operations for API and specialty chemical projects. Candidates will work closely with production, QA, and EHS teams to ensure smooth
technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing. This role focuses on improving chemical process efficiency, yield optimization, and troubleshooting during lab-scale synthesis in a regulated R&D environment.Key Responsibilities
- Support process development trials & scale-up activities.
- Perform reaction monitoring & process optimization.
- Assist in technology transfer from R&D to Production.
- Handle lab-scale synthesis and troubleshooting activities.
- Work closely with Production, QA & EHS teams during development.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues impacting yield, quality & efficiency.
- Maintain proper documentation related to experiments, observations & development activities.
Desired Profile
- 1-5 years of experience in Process R&D within the API/Pharma/Specialty Chemicals industry.
- Good understanding of process chemistry, scale-up & reaction handling.
- Exposure to cGMP, safety, and documentation practices preferred.
- Bengaluru-based candidates or immediate relocation preferred.
