Position Details

Position I

  • Position: Project Associate-II
  • No. of Positions: 3
  • Minimum Prescribed Educational Qualifications: Master/Integrated Masters in Organic Chemistry from a recognized University AND Two (2) years of experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.
  • Desirable Qualification/Experience: Organic synthesis; preference will be given to candidates with more than 2 years of research experience in multi-step organic synthesis in a research Institute or pharma/agrochemical industry.
  • Age Limit: 35*
  • Job Requirement: Multi-step organic synthesis and organic transformations using catalysis on small and large scales, purification, and analysis by analytical techniques.
  • Consolidated Emoluments per Month: (i) 35,000/- + HRA for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET incl. lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE OR those who have qualified national level examinations conducted by central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies/Institutions. (ii) 28,000/- + HRA for others.

  • Position: Project Associate-I
  • No. of Positions: 1
  • Minimum Prescribed Educational Qualifications: Master’s/Integrated Master’s in Organic Chemistry with experience in organic synthesis and catalysis.
  • Desirable Qualification/Experience: Organic synthesis; preference will be given to candidates with research experience in multi-step organic synthesis in a research Institute or pharma/agrochemical industry.
  • Age Limit: 35*
  • Job Requirement: Multi-step organic synthesis and organic transformation using catalysis on small and large scales, purification, and analysis by analytical techniques.
  • Consolidated Emoluments per Month: (i) 31,000/- + HRA for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET incl. lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE, or those who have qualified national level examinations conducted by central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies/Institutions. (ii) 25,000/- + HRA for others.

*The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/women, and 3 years for OBC candidates.

The engagement will be coterminous with the tenure of the sponsored project, subject to satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be purely on a temporary basis and shall not be an appointment of CSIR/NCL, temporary or otherwise, and shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim whatsoever, implicit or explicit, for consideration against any CSIR-NCL post/fellowship.

  • No interview call letter will be issued separately.
