Position Details:

- Consolidated Monthly Remuneration: INR 54,200/- (including HRA)

- Duration of Appointment: 1 year (extendable to another 2 years based on satisfactory performance)

- Essential Qualification/Experience: Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline. Candidates who have submitted their theses are also eligible. The percentage with respect to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onward, and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th.
Desirable Qualification/Experience:
- Density Functional Theory, Ab initio Molecular Dynamics, Classical Molecular Dynamics, and Kinetic Monte Carlo.
- Programming abilities (Python, Fortran, C++), High-performance computing.
- High-throughput computing, machine-learning methods.
- Experience of working with metal-organic frameworks (MOF) would be useful.
Job Description:
The project requires a successful candidate to work on computational modelling of MOFs and their applications. The candidate will be working in an experimental lab with a team of post-doctoral fellows and PhD scholars, and international collaborators.
