Essential Qualification:
M.Sc in Life Sciences/ Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent, AND selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.
Desirable / Job description:
Working experience in a lab and having molecular biology skills such as Nucleic acid isolation and purification, PCR, gel electrophoresis, Sanger sequencing, and cloning would be preferable. Genomic/ RNA seq Library preparation for Next-Generation sequencing and analysis would also be advantageous.
