Job Position: Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Large-scale Electrochemical Upcycling of Biomass and Waste-plastic
A one-year Postdoctoral Researcher position with Dr. Biswajit Mondal, Department of Chemistry, IITGN, is available with a possibility of extension based on the candidate’s performance in the first year for another two years. The candidate is expected to carry out research in heterogeneous catalyst synthesis for electrochemical energy conversion.
Job Description:
The candidate will be required to design and synthesize catalysts for electrochemical energy conversion. The candidate will work in the area of
electrocatalytic small molecule oxidations. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn modern electroanalytical techniques. The candidate is expected to be able to work independently and mentor Ph.D. students. The candidate is expected to have knowledge of electrolysers.Eligibility:
Ph.D. in Chemistry with experience in the synthesis of heterogeneous catalysts and their characterization, experience with electrolyzers, from reputed institutes with good publication records.
The percentage/grade points with respect to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onward, and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th.
Remuneration: 72,000/- to 84,000/- per month (Consolidated); As per experience.
