About the Organization:

The Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) is a premier organization under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) focusing on the development of liquid propulsion systems for launch vehicles and spacecraft. LPSC plays a crucial role in India’s space endeavors, contributing to major projects and innovations that support our space missions. Internship Details

General Instructions for Internship Applicants:

  • The candidate should be a citizen of India.
  • Students pursuing Science/Technology which are relevant to DOS/ISRO programmes only will be considered.
  • The number of students selected for internship may vary due to facility constraints. Applying for internship does not entitle the student to carry out internship at LPSC. It is the discretion of LPSC to accept/reject the application after the screening procedure.
  • Considering the increased demand for internships, it may not be possible to accommodate all the applicants. Therefore, the students are advised to identify other alternative organisations, in case of rejection of their applications.
  • A student will be allowed to pursue one internship per degree.
  • Internship is offered to students pursuing & enrolled for regular on-campus BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech, BSc/MSc (Chemistry) in a recognized university/institution (India/Abroad). Students pursuing BSc/MSc (Chemistry) can apply for internships only at LPSC, Bengaluru.
  • No stipend/remuneration/financial assistance will be given by LPSC/ISRO during the period of internship.
  • The duration of the internship will be minimum of 21 days and maximum of 45 days.

Eligibility for Application:

Course Should have completed Aggregate marks/CGPA on a scale of 10
BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Chem)/MSc (Chem) 4th Semester Marks upto the completed semesters
ME/M.Tech/MSc (Chem) 1st year Marks of Qualifying Degree
PhD Course work Marks of Qualifying Degree

 

  • Students shall possess aggregate of Min 60% or CGPA 6.32 on a scale of 10.
  • The application form and declaration by student and Principal/HOD should be filled in all respects and the application form must be mandatorily attached in the Google Form. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

  • Decision on the acceptance of the application will be communicated to the Student/HOD/Principal of the college.
  • Internship Google form & application for the current block period (15th October, 2025 – 15th January, 2026) is closed. For students who wish to avail of internship opportunities at LPSC for the next block period (01st May – 31st July, 2026), the application will be made available from 16th February to 15th March, 2026
