ADVT. FOR THE PAID INTERNSHIPS FOR ENGINEERING/SCIENCE UG & PG STUDENTS FOR YEAR 2026
Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur (DLJ) is one of the premier laboratories of the Defence R&D Organisation (DRDO). DLJ is involved in Research and Development activities on multispectral camouflage and deception technologies, desert sciences, and nuclear radiation management technologies. DLJ invites applications from students (Indian citizens) with excellent academic records for the Paid Internship for a minimum period of Six months.
Applications are invited in the
prescribed format from eligible final year students with excellent academic records pursuing under-graduation/post-graduation in engineering/science, latest by 23 December 2025, for the following disciplines:Categories and Vacancies
- EC – Electronics/ECE/EIE – B.E/B.Tech (Final Year) OR M.Tech/M.Sc (Final Year) – Monthly Stipend 5,000 – 20 Vacancies – Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur – 342011
- ME – Mechanical Engineering
- EE – Electrical Engineering
- CS – Computer Science & Engineering
- CE – Materials/Chemical Engineering
- PH – Physics
- CH – Chemistry
Minimum Duration: 06 Months
Minimum Education Qualifications
Pursuing a Graduate/Post Graduate in Engineering and Science, full-time course in the respective discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute (Final year students only).
Duration of Internship
Minimum 06 months, extendable as per project need.
Selection Procedure
- Merit-based selection with 75% & above marks (or ≥ 7.5 CGPA).
- Principal/HOD request letter for meritorious students.
- Age Limit: Below 28 Years.
- Selection based on CGPA/Online interview/document verification.
- Selected students notified via email.
- Incomplete applications rejected.
- Selection purely on merit; no communication for rejections.
Submission Procedure
Applications must be sent by Speed Post with “Application for Paid Internship” and “Branch Code” mentioned clearly on the envelope, addressed to:
Payment of Stipend
- Stipend applicable only if present for minimum 15 working days per month.
- Paid in 2 installments—after 3 months and after 6 months.
- M.Tech/M.Sc projects may be extended without stipend.
- Direct bank transfer of stipend.
Award of Certificate
Certificate issued upon completion of internship, evaluation, report submission, and formalities. No certificate for incomplete internship.
