Position Details
1. Project Associate-I
- PAT-I
- Number of posts: 03 (*Anticipated vacancy for the post may be 3 nos. depending upon the availability of funds and the candidate will be selected from the waiting list).
- Essential Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Civil/Chemical Eng.) from a recognized university
- Job Requirement: Air, water, wastewater & soil analysis, and ability to prepare scientific reports with proficiency in computer knowledge and regional language (Tamil)
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years
- Monthly Emoluments (₹):
- Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET lectureship / Assistant professorship or GATE OR those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies / Institutions.
- Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under the above category.
Mode of Selection: Selection will be done on the basis of a walk-in interview at CSIR-NEERI, Chennai Zonal Centre. Candidates must bring a passport-size photo, Aadhaar card, 10th (SSC), 12th (HSC), Graduate Marksheets, Degree, Postgraduate mark sheets, and Degree (one set photocopy and original) along with the filled application form attached with this advertisement.
Additional Information:
The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The engagement does not confer any right for regularization against CSIR-NEERI posts. The upper age limit is calculated as of the application date. No application fees required. Only candidates with the essential qualification and declared results (at least a provisional certificate) may apply. Experience will not include dissertation/thesis work done during academia or time spent acquiring higher qualifications. The shortlisted candidates for interviews will be notified online. Engagement is project-dependent and subject to performance, tenure, and the availability of funds. No TA for offline interviews. CSIR guidelines and funding agency stipulations govern terms.
