Role Overview
The Executive – API R&D will support process engineering activities, scaling up lab and pilot plant operations for API production. The role involves process understanding, data collection, hardware evaluation, technology transfer, and troubleshooting to ensure commercial-scale execution and compliance with internal SOPs.
Chemical Engineering Jobs- Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and observe lab-scale batches to collect data for unit operations, including reaction, distillation, extraction, crystallization, filtration, and drying.
- Evaluate raw materials, products, and by-products for safe handling, storage, and disposal.
- Identify hardware requirements for commercial-scale production using lab, kilo lab, and pilot plant data.
- Propose and execute plant modifications, ensuring timely completion.
- Support technology transfer activities for seamless scale-up.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process issues during commercial execution.
Chemical Engineering Jobs- Qualifications
- B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- 2–6 years of experience in API process development, scale-up, and technology transfer.
- Strong understanding of chemical engineering unit operations, process development, and internal SOPs.
- Project management, effective communication, and problem-solving skills.
