Job Description
The Research Associate 1 – Analytical will be responsible for executing analytical techniques, maintaining laboratory instruments, and contributing to collaborative drug discovery projects. The role involves hands-on analytical chemistry work and supporting the
synthetic chemistry team in problem-solving.Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine analysis using HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, or purification techniques.
- Collaborate with synthetic teams for analytical support and troubleshooting.
- Independently handle analytical instruments with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct method development on HPLC/LC-MS (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, documentation, and calibration of instruments.
- Maintain safety standards and compliance within the laboratory.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry.
- Strong knowledge of instrumental techniques and their applications.
- Ability to manage routine analysis independently.
- Exposure to method development will be an added advantage.
