Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site Triveni Renewables Trainee Lab role based at TRPL’s facility in Rajahmundry. The Trainee Lab team member will support routine laboratory testing of solar glass, including sampling, preparation, and recording results under supervision. Daily tasks include operating basic laboratory equipment, following test protocols, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and assisting in documentation for quality control and compliance. The role involves close collaboration with production and quality teams to help monitor product parameters and identify any deviations. The trainee will also participate in training sessions to learn lab procedures, safety guidelines, and relevant standards for solar glass manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support routine laboratory testing of solar glass, including sampling, preparation, and recording results under supervision.
  • Operate basic laboratory equipment and follow test protocols.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas.
  • Assist in documentation for quality control and compliance.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to help monitor product parameters and identify any deviations.
  • Participate in training sessions to learn lab procedures, safety guidelines, and relevant standards for solar glass manufacturing.

Eligibility Criteria for the Trainee Lab Role

  • Candidates should possess core laboratory skills, including sample handling, basic testing procedures, and adherence to lab safety practices.
  • Candidates should possess familiarity with laboratory equipment, including operation, basic calibration, and routine maintenance under guidance.
  • Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to interpret test results, identify irregularities, and report findings accurately.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of quality control principles, including documentation, process checks, and support for continuous improvement.
  • Candidates should possess basic understanding or interest in laboratory medicine or materials testing as it relates to glass or similar products.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related field is preferred (e.g., Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science).
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures, work in a structured environment, and learn quickly from supervision.
  • Good observation skills, attention to detail, and basic computer literacy for data entry and report preparation.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Rajahmundry and collaborate.
