Senior Analyst Job Description
The Senior Analyst Job involves performing tests as per authorization, ensuring compliance with turnaround times, and maintaining safety protocols within the laboratory. This role involves handling and operating GC-MS/MS, conducting pesticide and mycotoxin analyses, and adhering to ISO 17025 requirements for quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must abide by the rules & regulations of the laboratory.
- Responsible for performing tests as per authorization and ensuring the TAT compliance.
- Ensure safe handling of equipment.
- Fill all logbooks for the equipment as per usage.
- Wear all PPEs and lab aprons before performing tests without fail.
- Follow safety rules & maintain 5S.
- Conduct pesticides & mycotoxins analysis in food & agriculture as per authorization.
- Follow ISO 17025 requirements in the lab with respect to quality compliance and other regulatory requirements.
- Internal calibration of equipment maintenance.
- Handle, operate & calibrate GC-MS/MS.
- Manage CRM, including preparation, storage, disposal, and record maintenance.
Senior Analyst Job Eligibility Criteria
- M.Sc in Chemistry / Food Technology / Food Science.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols.
- Experience in handling GC-MS/MS equipment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
