Ohmium Stack Testing Job Description
The Ohmium Stack Testing Engineer will be responsible for preparing test plans, protocols, and procedures for performance characterization and testing of PEM electrolyzer stacks. The role involves managing routine calibration of test instruments, executing tests, and analyzing data to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare test plans, test protocols, and procedures for performance characterization, durability, accelerated stress, and dynamic cycling tests.
- Support commissioning of the test system, including verification of sensors and safety logic.
- Manage routine calibration and verification of test instruments to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Execute testing and data analysis of PEM electrolyzer stacks.
- Guide test technicians with clear instructions for continuous monitoring of stack and system operation.
- Process and analyze large multi-channel datasets from operating stacks.
- Define, calculate, and track key performance indicators such as cell voltage spread and energy consumption.
- Prepare test reports and technical summaries for internal reviews and project updates.
Ohmium Stack Testing Eligibility Criteria:
- B Tech in Electrochemical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in testing is desirable.
- Previous experience in the renewable energy sector including batteries, fuel cells, or electrolyzers is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical expertise in testing and understanding of electrochemical systems.
- Experience in testing, validation, troubleshooting, and data analysis for PEM stacks.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different test types and functionalities.
