Job Description:
As a NACWC Technical Officer, the selected officer will be responsible for various functions related to the enforcement of the Chemical Weapons Convention Act. This includes conducting inspections, preparing statutory reports, providing technical inputs on policy matters, and managing databases related to the CWC. The role may require extensive travel both domestically and internationally.
NACWC Technical Officer Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should be officers of the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territory Administrations, recognised universities/public-sector undertakings, recognised research institutions, autonomous bodies or statutory organisations.
- They must either hold an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or have two years of regular service in Level-7 (₹44,900–₹1,42,400) or equivalent.
Educational Qualification
Essential:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry from a recognised university; or
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Chemical Technology or Chemical Engineering from a recognised university/institute.
Experience Required:
- Candidates should have two years’ experience in a technical position in a technical or research organisation or industrial concern engaged in the field of organic chemicals and organic chemical industry.

Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry or a B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.

- Experience in technical or research roles within the organic chemicals or chemical industry.

- A certificate stating “No Objection” from the concerned forwarding/parent department.
- Attested copies of ACRs/APARs for the past five years.
- A certificate regarding the integrity of the officer recommended for appointment.
- Vigilance clearance status.
- A statement indicating any major/minor penalties imposed during the last ten years.
