Minimum Qualifications:
- Essential: M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry (or equivalent degree) with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Desirable: Candidates having experience in quantum chemical calculations/molecular dynamics simulations (Computational Chemistry).
Fellowship:
- INR 37,000/- + 10% HRA to scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
- INR 30,000/- + 10% HRA for others who do not fall under the first category.

- Tenure: The position is temporary for a period of three months, with the possibility of extension after a review of performance.

General Information / Details About the Post
- The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on the termination of the research project.
- The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment/absorption in the Funding Agency or in IISER Tirupati.
- Appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to the said project.
- The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from recognized Universities/Institutions.
- Candidates should ensure that they have educational qualifications from recognized University/Institute and requisite experience, if any as on the closing date for submission of application.
- Those awaiting results of the final examination for the prescribed educational qualification are not eligible and hence should not apply.
- The prescribed educational qualifications are the bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for an interview.
- Where the number of applications received in response to this advertisement is large, it will not be convenient or possible to interview all the candidates. Based on the recommendations of the Screening Committee, the Project Leader may restrict the number of candidates for the interview to a reasonable limit after taking into consideration the qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
- The number of posts indicated may increase or decrease as per the Institute requirement.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
- Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.
