- Position: Young Professionals
- Number of Vacancies: 05 (02 at CFQC&TI Faridabad & 01 each for its Regional Labs at Chennai, Navi Mumbai & Kalyani)
- Qualification: Master’s degree in Chemistry (Inorganic/Organic/Analytical), M.Sc (Agriculture) with specialisation in Soil Science or Agricultural Chemistry, or M.Sc. in Microbiology or Entomology from a recognised university.
- Experience: Minimum 02 years in the relevant field of Bio-stimulants/Nano fertilisers analysis & handling of instruments.
- Age Limit: Candidates should not exceed 35 years on the last date of submission of application.
- Remuneration: Rs. 60,000/- per month, with no additional benefits such as PF, Pension, or Medical Allowance.
- Place of Posting: CFQC&TI Faridabad, and Regional Labs in Navi Mumbai & Kalyani (West Bengal).
Job Description
The Young Professionals will assist in the day-to-day functioning of sophisticated instruments for the analysis of Bio-stimulants and Nano-fertilizers. These analytical chemistry jobs involve handling and maintenance of laboratory equipment such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS/MS), and others. They will also support standardisation of methods of analysis in compliance with the Fertilizer Control Order, 1985.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the analysis of Bio-stimulants and Nano-fertilizers.
- Maintain and operate laboratory instruments.
- Support the standardisation of analytical methods.
- Follow up on the performance of laboratory instruments.
- Report to the Director/In-charge of CFQC&TI and its Regional Labs.
- Work on additional tasks as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in relevant fields.
- Minimum 02 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Proficiency in handling computers (MS Office, etc.).
- Preference for candidates with M. Phil/Ph.D. qualifications.
- Age not exceeding 35 years.
