About the Centre of Biomedical Research

Under the CBMR Lucknow recruitment, applications are invited for the positions of Senior Project Associate, Junior Research Fellow, or Project Associate-II to work on an ANRF-ARG funded project titled “Development of Sustainable Strategies for the Divergent Syntheses of Naphthalene-, Tetralin Lignans and Many More.” The positions are temporary, with SPA lasting for one year and JRF or PA-II until the completion of the project or the available grant, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria
- SPA: M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry with four years of experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organisations, or a PhD in Chemistry.
- JRF: M.Sc. in Chemistry selected through any one of the following:
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET, including lecturership (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
- Selection through national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.
- PA-II: M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry with two years of experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organisations.
Desirable Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in organic synthesis, particularly in multi-step reactions, catalysis, or asymmetric synthesis, supported by publications.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 50 years for SPA/PA-II and 30 years for JRF. Age relaxation will be provided as per GOI norms.
