Job Description:
The BRIC-inStem Postdoctoral Fellow project focuses on quantitative and systems cell biology, addressing fundamental regulations of metabolic states, including mitochondrial function in metazoan cell models. The successful candidate will have expertise in chemical biology, the use of chemical probes, and proteomics, along with quantitative mass spectrometry and high/super resolution fluorescence microscopy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and building high/super resolution fluorescence microscopy based imaging for quantitative cell biology.
- Working with multiple cell lines, including stable expression and manipulation.
- Conducting CRISPR-based engineering and data analysis.
- Demonstrating computational skills, including basic programming capabilities and working with R.
Postdoctoral Fellow Eligibility Criteria
- Strong background in chemical biology and quantitative cell biology.
- Required expertise in mass spectrometry and imaging techniques.
- Ability to communicate data effectively and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
