Job Details:
Position: One Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- per month + 18% HRA for NET/GATE/Any National-level exam qualified candidates.
Basic Eligibility: PG Degree in Basic Science OR Post Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Essential Requirements:
- Master’s (M.Sc.) / M.Tech. degree in Soil Science/Agriculture Science/Environmental Science/Earth Science/Geology/Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% aggregate or CGPA/CPI of 7.0 and above on a 10-point scale (overall percentage/CGPA/CPI; not only in majoring subject).
Desirable:
- Experience of handling analytical equipment, such as analytical equipment, including IC, ICP-OES, and ICP-MS. Candidate should have a strong motivation for working in the field for sample and data collection.
Duration: The IISER Bhopal JRF position is available up to 31 March 2027.
