The Madras Fertilizers Apprenticeship offers eligible engineering graduates an opportunity to undertake Apprenticeship Training under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). This opportunity is open for the training year 2026–27, with applications accepted until 10 September 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifying Degree: Full-time regular B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (or Chemical Technology) from a recognized Indian University/Institution approved by AICTE or UGC.
- Year of Passing: Candidates who have passed their qualifying degree in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible.
- Previous Training/Employment: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, or have job experience of one year or more, are not eligible.

- Step 1 (NATS Enrollment): Candidates must first register and enrol themselves on the official NATS portal: www.nats.education.gov.in and
obtain a unique enrollment number. - Step 2 (MFL Application): Using the NATS enrollment ID, eligible candidates
must submit their application online through the NATS portal Student Login: https://nats.education.gov.in/student_login.php

Selection Procedure
Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines. Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated through their registered email ID. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for Certificate Verification at Madras Fertilizers Limited.
Responsibilities
- Participate in training programs as per the guidelines of NATS.
- Gain practical experience in various operations within the organization.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
- Complete assigned tasks and projects under the supervision of mentors.
- Engage in continuous learning and development activities.
