IISER Tirupati Research Associate: Job Details
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants for this IISER Tirupati Research Associate role should review the following requirements.
- Ph.D. degree in Chemical Sciences.
- Candidates may also apply after submitting their thesis while awaiting their Ph.D. degree.
- Evidence of having conducted high-quality research during or after their Ph.D. program is required.
- Desirable qualities: IISER Tirupati highly values experience in growing single crystals of metal halide hybrid and/or experience in crystallography and optical spectroscopy (UV-Vis spectroscopy, photoluminescence, time-resolved photoluminescence, thermal studies).
Fellowship: Additionally, the role offers:
- Rs. 58,000/- p.m. + 10% HRA if the candidate produces the Ph.D. Certificate.
- Rs. 42,000/- p.m. + 10% HRA for candidates whose Ph.D. degree is awaited, provided they produce a letter from a competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending.

Tenure: The position is temporary for six months, with an extension for six months after performance review (depending on funds availability).
