Job Description:
The Associate STEM Content Analyst will play a crucial role in extracting novel information from patents and enhancing it using DWPI codes in accordance with editorial policies and conventions. The position requires a strong foundation in chemistry, analytical skills, and a desire to learn about the intricacies of patent analysis. Candidates will be responsible for achieving production volume and quality targets while maintaining a flexible approach to process changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract novel information from patents and value-add using DWPI codes.
- Achieve production volume and quality targets.
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability towards process changes.
- Identify personal technology training and developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must hold an M.Sc in Chemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 0-2 years of experience in a related domain are encouraged to apply.
- Comprehensive knowledge of chemistry, including chemical nomenclature, reactions, formulae, inorganic chemistry, catalysts, and additives.
- Familiarity with chemical drawing packages, such as ISIS Draw.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of the novelty of inventions in patents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
