Age Limit:
- The upper age limit for all positions is 30 years as on 01.07.2026. Applicable age relaxation includes 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, prescribed relaxation for PwBD candidates and relaxation for Ex-Servicemen according to the notification conditions.
Selection Process:
- Selection for these Junior Engineering Assistant Jobs comprises:
- Computer Based Test (CBT) → Document Verification → Skill, Proficiency and/or Physical Test (SPPT)
- The CBT carries 120 marks, consisting of 50 General Aptitude questions and 70 Discipline Knowledge questions. There is a penalty of ¼ mark for every incorrect answer, and the test duration is two hours. The SPPT is qualifying in nature.
Salary / Pay Scale:
- Selected candidates will be appointed in the Non-Supervisory Cadre (Grade IV) in the IDA pay scale of: ₹25,000 – ₹1,05,000
- The starting basic pay is ₹25,000. Selected candidates are also entitled to applicable benefits such as DA, HRA/Self-Lease, PF, Gratuity, LTC/LFA, reimbursement of medical expenses and superannuation benefits according to Corporation rules.
