Job Description
The field chemist position at ALS involves conducting timely analysis of environmental samples, including water, wastewater, soil, and sediments. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining

- Ensure timely analysis of water, wastewater, fertiliser, atmospheric pollution samples, soil, and sediments according to relevant methods.
- Maintain laboratory records for calibration, intermediate checks, sample preparation, and environmental conditions as per ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Update stock of chemicals and consumables regularly and communicate procurement needs to senior personnel.
- Perform intermediate checks, calibration, and maintenance of instruments used for analysis.
- Maintain impartiality and confidentiality in all activities conducted at ALS.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should preferably hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry.
Required Skills
