Job Overview:
This Analytical Chemist Job is for the role of R&D Sr. Officer in Reckitt Research and Development, Gurugram, Haryana, India. The successful candidate will join the Germ Protection Analytical Research & Development team
and should have experience with Gas Chromatography and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography within Pharmaceutical, FMCG or environmental industries. The position plays a key role in the development of Germ Protection brands including Dettol, Harpic and Lizol.Key Responsibilities:
- Completing critical analysis on assigned projects in a timely manner, including stability and benchmark product testing.
- Participating in analytical method development and validation for existing and new products.
- Using scientific and technical skills to assist in solving product and project-associated problems.
- Maintaining good laboratory practices including data integrity and equipment validation.
- Assisting in maintaining lab equipment in a ready-to-use state, including organizing preventative maintenance and calibration.
- Contributing to a safe laboratory environment by following proper safety procedures.
- Serving as a trainer for test methods and instrument operation for other team members and new joiners.
- Fostering personal development growth with continuous coaching and feedback on career development.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Ph.D., Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in chemistry or related fields.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in analytical chemistry.
- Working knowledge of HPLC, GC, and other instrumentation used in the analysis of consumer goods products.
- Hands-on laboratory experience with a passion to innovate and utilize out-of-the-box thinking.
