Job Description:
The Technical Operator/NMR Technician will be responsible for:
- Analysis of samples received from faculty, scholars, industries, and other academic institutes while keeping records of the same.
- Leading training programs for new staff and postgraduate students on research instruments, including writing research proposals jointly with faculty.
- Collaborating with the Technical Coordinator to ensure instrumentation facilities are well maintained and functioning smoothly.
- Assisting with undergraduate teaching laboratory preparation duties during non-busy research periods and other duties as allocated by the Institute.
- Implementing other projects required by the Institute.
Additionally, the incumbent will operate research instruments, maintain all instrument records, and ensure that the research labs are always kept clean and functional. The position requires active participation in the installation, maintenance, and routine operation of these instruments.
