Job Description:
The JRF vacancy
at Shiv Nadar University involves engaging in a project aimed at developing sustainable electrocatalysts for hydrogen production. The selected candidate will work on synthesizing redox-active ligand frameworks and their coordination to main-group elements, contributing to environmentally friendly energy solutions. - Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in Chemistry from a UGC-recognized University/Institution.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Candidates with CSIR/UGC-NET/JEST/GATE qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Desirable Qualifications
- Good synthetic chemistry skills and familiarity with inert atmosphere techniques.
- Experience in electrochemical studies, electrocatalysis, and HER studies.
Duration of the Project:
Initially one year (purely temporary), extendable up to three years based on satisfactory performance. During the project, the candidate will have the opportunity to apply for the Ph.D. programme at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence.
Fellowship:
Selected candidates will receive a fellowship of INR
- 37,000 per month during the first two years, which will be enhanced to INR
- 42,000 per month in the third year upon successful performance evaluation by an expert review committee. HRA will be provided as per ANRF guidelines.
