Job Details:
- Position: Junior Research Fellow (J.R.F.)
- Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- + HRA (20%)
- Eligibility:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Nanotechnology, or relevant areas with a minimum of 65% marks or CPI 7.5
- NET (LS/UGC/CSIR) or GATE (optional)
- Experience: Candidates with prior experience in small-molecule organic synthesis and chemical biology will be given preference.
- Duration: 12 months with the possibility of further extension.

Job Description
The Junior Research Fellow will work on the development of nanocellulose-based stimuli-responsive hydrogels and aerogels functionalized for drug-delivery applications. This govt research fellowship provides an opportunity to engage in innovative research that can contribute to advancements in the field of drug delivery systems. The selected candidate will collaborate with a team of researchers and will be involved in various stages of the project, from conceptualization to execution.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on nanocellulose-based materials.
- Develop and optimize hydrogel and aerogel formulations.
- Perform experiments and analyze data.
- Collaborate with team members on project objectives.
- Prepare reports and presentations on research findings.
- Assist in mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and seminars.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Nanotechnology, or relevant fields.
