- Job Requirements: To carry out R&D activities aligned with the project objectives, including experiments, analysis, data collection, compilation, and research report writing.
Job Description
The Project Associate will be engaged on a temporary contractual basis for the project aimed at
developing polymer-based sensors for detecting microplastics in water. This role involves conducting research, performing experiments, and compiling data and reports. The initial engagement period is until March 2027, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements.Responsibilities
- Conduct R&D activities as per project objectives.
- Perform experiments and data analysis.
- Compile and write research reports.
- Collaborate with team members on project tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments and findings.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and discussions.
- Adhere to safety and compliance protocols in the lab.
Eligibility Criteria
- Maximum age of 35 years as of 05 August 2026.
- Essential qualifications must be acquired before applying.
- Experience in R&D related to Organic Synthesis is preferred.
- Must not have served as Project Staff in CSIR for more than 6 years.
Required Skills
- Strong background in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with chromatographic techniques.
