Job Overview:
This Chemistry Jobs Vacancy is designed for professionals who have experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and raw material planning within the pharmaceutical industry. The selected candidate will coordinate with internal teams, negotiate with suppliers, manage procurement activities, and ensure timely availability of raw materials for research and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluating competitive suppliers/manufacturers as per R&D and manufacturing needs.
- Strategic sourcing for key starting materials.
- Raw materials costing preparation from different sources (Domestic & China market) and submission within TAT.
- Managing the RFQs, negotiation, and preparing the terms of supply agreement.
- Purchasing raw materials at a negotiated rate.
- Order management: Track PRs/POs daily and identify gaps to meet timelines.
- Coordination with CFTs (R&D, WH, PM & PPIC) on a daily basis.
- Develop a supply plan to ensure timely delivery and coordination with internal & external logistics.
- Experience on SAP MM module.
- Good knowledge of chemical types & technical terms.
Educational Requirements:
- MSc (Chemistry Background Mandatory)
- Experience: 2-5 Years
Note: CDMO Experience Preferable.
