Job Overview:
Quest Global is hiring a Process Engineer for its Downstream division in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This full-time opportunity is designed for professionals with experience in refinery, petrochemical, fertilizer, or chemical manufacturing industries. The role involves process data collection, engineering document review, refinery process analysis
, technical documentation, client support, and collaboration with engineering teams to improve operational efficiency and process performance.Key Responsibilities:
- Understand engineering documents as per workflow requirements.
- Collect, validate, and organize process operating data from refinery and petrochemical units.
- Utilize process historian software such as PI System, CREDO, PRO-II, PDMS, and XHQ/Seeq.
- Analyze process inputs including pressure, temperature, flow, composition, AIT, flash point, H₂S, and ammonia concentration.
- Interpret technical summaries, data sheets, and engineering documentation.
- Support clients during review meetings.
- Maintain structured documentation and data records.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in Chemical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a continuous process manufacturing facility – Refinery/ Petrochemicals/ Fertilizers/ Chemicals background preferred.
Required Skills:
- Good understanding of refinery and petrochemical unit operations.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, PFDs, datasheets, and equipment design documents.
- Experience with process historian and simulation tools (PI System, CREDO, PRO-II, PDMS, XHQ/Seeq).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to analyze large datasets.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and strong data discipline.
- Team-oriented with good coordination skills.
