Job Overview:
Takeda Careers is hiring a Process Excellence Champion for its Navi Mumbai location. This opportunity is designed for professionals seeking Chemical Engineering Jobs with experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, process modelling, project execution, and operational excellence. The selected candidate will support digital transformation initiatives, manufacturing process optimization, digital twin development, and
cross-functional projects while contributing to the organization’s Factory of the Future vision.Key Responsibilities:
- Co-lead process excellence initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Develop process models using SuperPro and SchedulePro software.
- Improve manufacturing processes through debottlenecking and cycle time reduction.
- Develop digital twin models using gPROMS.
- Support sustainability and digital transformation initiatives.
- Participate in Factory of the Future and Business Process Design Sprints.
- Lead cross-functional manufacturing improvement projects.
- Develop project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct process flow analysis and recommend operational improvements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: B.E / B.Tech – Chemical Engineering or related discipline preferred from TIER 1 Engineering College
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years with Pharma Industry, desired
Required Skills:
- Understanding of chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and fundamentals of chemical engineering
- Ability to analyze process flow, cycle time, and resource utilization
- Familiarity or willingness to learn SuperPro, SchedulePro, and gPROMS
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
