Project SUT QUAD Project – Modeling & Simulation of Electroslag Refining Unit
Employment Type The position is for eleven months, with an extension subject to performance through a review process.
Qualification Ph.D. with BE/BTech/Equivalent in Chemical Engg/ Electro-Chemical Engg/Metallurgical Engg/Mechanical Engg or Ph.D. with M.Tech/MS in Chemical Engg/ Electro-Chemical Engg/Metallurgical Engg/Mechanical Engg
Salary Rs 58,000 per month (plus HRA as applicable)

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Ph.D. with BE/BTech/Equivalent in Chemical Engg/ Electro-Chemical Engg/Metallurgical Engg/Mechanical Engg or Ph.D. with M.Tech/MS in Chemical Engg/ Electro-Chemical Engg/Metallurgical Enn/Mechanical Engg.
  • Must have experience in the modeling of multicomponent flow using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
  • The candidate should have good academic records throughout and good wriCng/communicaCon skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of electrochemical engineering and experience in the modeling of electrochemical systems
  • Knowledge of ANSYS Fluent and COMSOL
  • Publication in Scopus-indexed journals will have an added advantage.
