| Job Description | The project focuses on engineering functional protein-based colorants using molecular biology, recombinant protein expression, cloning, mutagenesis, and directed evolution approaches. Work involves designing, constructing, and screening protein variants with tunable optical and binding properties, followed by biochemical and biophysical characterization of protein stability, coloration efficiency, and interactions with textile substrates. Activities include protein purification, spectroscopy-based characterization, and evaluation of dye performance under different environmental and processing conditions. |
