Job Overview:
Element Solutions is inviting applications for a Quality Intern position under its Packaging & Board Assembly division. This Chemistry Internship provides hands-on experience in quality assurance, quality control, documentation, compliance, process improvement, and manufacturing quality systems. Interns will collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, and EHS teams while contributing to projects that ensure products consistently meet global quality standards.
Key Responsibilities for this Chemistry Internship:
- Assist in maintaining quality documentation, SOPs, and controlled records.
- Support internal, customer, and regulatory quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with company quality policies and standards.
- Collect, organize, and analyze quality performance data.
- Prepare quality reports and dashboards.
- Support investigations into non-conformances and customer complaints.
- Assist with quality control laboratory activities and sample documentation.
- Help track calibration and maintenance schedules.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, and EHS teams.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and quality meetings.
Educational Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related scientific/technical field.
- Strong academic record with an interest in quality systems, laboratory techniques, or manufacturing operations.
- No prior full-time experience required; however, internships, lab work, or project experience related to quality or process improvement is a plus.
- Basic understanding of quality principles, analytical methods, or industry standards is beneficial but not required (training will be provided).
