This Entry-Level Chemistry Jobs opportunity at Hetero Careers is designed for graduates interested in Freshers EHS Jobs. The selected candidate will support environmental, health, and safety initiatives by assisting with workplace inspections, documentation, compliance monitoring, environmental monitoring, waste management, safety awareness programs, and coordination across departments to maintain a safe working environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing Environment, Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Support incident reporting, investigation, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor waste segregation, hazardous waste handling, and disposal activities.
- Maintain EHS documentation, records, permits, and compliance reports.
- Participate in fire safety inspections, emergency preparedness, and mock drills.
- Assist in conducting safety training and awareness programs for employees.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across departments.
- Monitor environmental parameters such as air, water, and noise, as required.
- Support compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with different departments to promote a safe working environment.
- Perform any other EHS-related tasks assigned by the reporting manager.
Qualification:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Industrial Safety, or related field
- Experience: 0–1 Year (Freshers can apply)
- Diploma/PG Diploma in Industrial Safety (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of EHS regulations and GMP is an advantage
Required Skills for this Entry-Level Chemistry Job:
- Basic knowledge of occupational health and industrial safety.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing practices (preferred).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
