ADVERTISEMENT FOR PAID INTERNSHIP FOR UNDERGRADUATE (BE/BTech) & POSTGRADUATE (ME/MTech/MSc) STUDENTS at DMRL, Hyderabad
- DMRL invites applications from interested students of Indian Nationality for enrollment under the Paid Internship Scheme of DRDO for a period of 06 (six) months. Applications are invited from eligible Final Year students pursuing undergraduate (BE/BTech) or postgraduate (ME/MTech/MSc) studies in engineering/science in the prescribed format within 10 days from the date of publication of this advertisement for the following disciplines.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduates in Engineering in the specified disciplines with a minimum CGPA of 7.0 (on a scale of 10) in all previous semesters and pursuing post-graduation in Engineering or Science should have 70% mark in the 1st Year exam. Students must be enrolled in a full-time course in their respective disciplines at an AICTE/UGC-approved College/University.
DURATION OF INTERNSHIP:
- The duration of the paid internship/project work will be for a period of 06 months. Completion Certificate will only be issued to those who have completed the internship program of 06 months.
HOW TO APPLY:
- A scanned copy of the Application form duly filled in all respects, along with the Reference / Request letter from the college for Paid Internship (as per the attached format), is to be sent to Director, DMRL through email only. No hard copy will be accepted as an application for the internship.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED:
- Filled out the application form as per the attached format
- Copy of the marksheets of the last semester/year
- Copy of the Aadhar card
- Reference / Request letter from college for Paid Internship as per the attached format
- Brief biodata in less than 300 words, highlighting achievements
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
- Selection will be made from the applied candidates based on merit, online / offline interview, or interaction as required
- Age Limit: Below 28 Years (as of 31st July 2026)
- Selected students will only be notified about the joining procedures through the mail ID mentioned in the application form.
BOARDING/LODGING:
No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible during the internship. The expenditure for boarding, lodging, transport, medical etc. shall be borne by the student.
PAYMENT OF STIPEND:
- Stipend for the internship shall be applicable for a period of 06 months only.
- Payment will be made in two installments. First instalment will be paid after 03 months of internship, and the second instalment will be paid after completion of 06 months of internship.
AWARD OF CERTIFICATE:
- Certificate of completion will be awarded to the student upon successful completion of the internship, which includes submission of the project report, clearing of the evaluation of project work, and completion of other formalities.
OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS for DRDO Vacancy:
Interns will strictly adhere to the guidelines of the Lab during the internship period. Internship will be terminated if the students are found to be involved in any indisciplinary activities. DMRL/DRDO shall have no obligation to offer employment to such interns/project students, nor can an intern claim a right to employment on the grounds of completion of the Internship.
