- Perform chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using standard analytical techniques.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, including HPLC, GC-TD-MS, DSC, GPC, TGA, Rheometer, TMA, DMA, KF, Wet chemistry titrations, UV, FTIR, and other relevant equipment.
- Prepare reagents, standards, and samples in accordance with SOPs and test methods.
- Record and maintain accurate test data in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems.
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety guidelines, and company quality standards.
- Assist in calibration and preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Support troubleshooting of analytical methods and participate in method validation activities.
- Maintain inventory of chemicals, consumables, and laboratory supplies.
- Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Safety & Compliance: Perform all laboratory work safely, adhering to regulations of safety, health, and environment; PPE requirements; and 5S processes.
- Support compliance and requirements for audit purposes—ISO, customer-specific audits, etc.
Educational Requirements for Product Development Jobs:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an analytical lab or experience in an adhesives lab preferred.
Skills Required for Product Development Jobs:
