Post Details, Eligibility Criteria, and Requirements
The details of the post, eligibility criteria, job requirement, age limit, etc., required for the posts are indicated in Annexure I. The pay and other terms and conditions of deputation (including short-term contract) will be regulated in accordance with DOPT’s O.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010 as amended from time to time. Cadre authorities/Heads of Department are requested to forward applications of eligible and willing candidates whose services can be spared for appointment to the said post on Deputation basis so as to reach Shri Pawan Kumar, Deputy Director (Admn), Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation HQ, FDA Bhawan, Kotla Road, New Delhi-110002 within 60 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News.

List of Documents to be Sent Along with the Application
- Application in prescribed format – Annexure II duly filled in and signed by the candidate and countersigned with seal by the Cadre/Appointing authority.
- Self-attested copies of Date of Birth and Master’s Degree.
- Attested copies of APAR/ACRS for the last 5 (five) years duly attested on each page by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India.
- Integrity Certificate.
- Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
- Statement of major or minor penalties, if any, imposed on the officer during the last 10 years of service.
- A certificate to the effect that the particulars furnished by the candidate have been verified and found correct as per service records.
- Cadre Clearance Certificate.

Method of Recruitment and Eligibility Criteria
Filling up of one post of Junior Scientific Officer Group ‘B’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, in the Pay Level 8 (Rs. 47600 – 151100) of the pay matrix of the 7th CPC in Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory (RDTL), Chandigarh, Central Drugs Standard Control Organization, Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Deputation.
Method of Recruitment: 50% by Deputation, including short-term contract or Promotion
Eligibility Criteria:
Officers of the Central Government, State Government, Union Territory administrations, autonomous or statutory organizations, public sector undertakings, recognized universities, or recognized research institutions:
a)
- Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
- With two years’ service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in level – 7 (Rs. 44900-142400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
b) possessing the following educational qualification and experience:
- Essential:
(i) Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Bacteriology, Medicine, Microbiology, or Biotechnology from a recognized university or institute. - Experience: Four years’ experience in drug testing, standardization, and research
- Desirable: Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Bacteriology, Medicine, Microbiology, or Biotechnology from a recognized university or institute.
