The Centre invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the positions of Assistant Professor, Reader, and Associate Professor. Applicants should possess relevant work experience and an excellent academic record, including high-quality publications in reputed journals
and relevant teaching experience.Assistant Professor
- Number of Posts: 7
- Scale of Pay: Academic Pay Level-12 (Entry pay Rs. 78,800-Rs. 2,09,200/-)
- Qualification & Experience: Ph.D. in the relevant area in Biology/Chemistry/Mathematics/Physics with at least 60% marks or equivalent at the Master’s degree in the respective subject, and at least 2 years post-Ph.D. research experience.
- Desirable: Teaching experience
- Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as of July 15, 2026
Reader:
- Number of Posts: 4
- Scale of Pay: Academic Pay Level-13 (Entry pay Rs. 1,23,100-Rs. 2,15,900/-)
- Qualification & Experience: Ph.D. in the relevant area in Biology/Chemistry/Mathematics/Physics with at least 60% marks or equivalent at the Master’s degree in the respective subject, and at least 5 years post-Ph.D. research experience.
- Desirable: Teaching experience
- Age Limit: Not more than 38 years as of July 15, 2026
Associate Professor:
- Number of Posts: 3
- Scale of Pay: Academic Pay Level-13A (Entry pay Rs. 1,31,100-Rs. 2,16,600/-)
- Qualification & Experience: Ph.D. in the relevant area in Biology/Chemistry/Physics with at least 60% marks or equivalent at the Master’s degree in the respective subject, and at least 10 years post-Ph.D. research experience.
- Desirable: Teaching experience
- Age Limit: Not more than 43 years as of July 15, 2026
