Job Overview:
This position is responsible for supporting quality control operations at the Dahej manufacturing facility. Candidates selected through Lubrizol Careers will perform analytical testing, manage laboratory documentation, support quality management systems, maintain analytical instruments, and assist with process quality improvements. work in a dynamic manufacturing environment supporting product quality and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:
- This position required to work in rotational shift & support the in-process, finished goods sampling & analysis in shift operations.
- Developing and implementing SOP for carrying out required analysis, operating & maintaining testing equipment.
- Accountable to ensure the Operation and Calibration of analytical Instruments as per the standard procedures.
- Managing QA/QC documentation & data relating to Quality and Process, Inspection, Analysis of all Raw Materials, Additives and Final Product of the company.
- To support QA / QC manager to implement & comply all Quality management system, ISO 9001 systems at Dahej plant.
- Coordinate with service providers for preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments as per schedule. Ensure sample retaining & Housekeeping of the QC lab.
- Collaborate with the internal plant teams to achieve site objectives.
Education Requirements:
- Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry preferably analytical Chemistry from a good university & minimum work experience of 2 to 6 years in chemical industry or polymer industry.
- Computer Skills: MS Office, SAP QA Module, statistical tools.
- To Handle sophisticated instrument like IR, Spectrometer & X-ray Spectrometer.
Skills Required:
- Experience in analytical & Physical testing for Polymer compound.
- Experience in industry related to Batch operations, compounding – preferably solid / powder material.
- Good Analytical instrumentation knowledge and laboratory practices.
