Overview
Syngene is hiring a Lead Mass Spectrometry professional for its Biopharmaceutical Development division in Bangalore. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, qualifying, implementing, and transferring characterization methods from R&D to quality control and manufacturing teams. This role involves handling samples from upstream, downstream, formulation, and production processes while generating analytical data, preparing technical reports, supporting laboratory operations, and leading

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, qualify, implement, and transfer analytical characterization methods.
- Perform biologics characterization using advanced mass spectrometry techniques.
- Analyze samples from upstream, downstream, formulation, and quality control teams.
- Generate, collate, and interpret analytical data following quality systems.
- Prepare technical reports and communicate scientific findings.
- Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks and documentation records.
- Participate in team meetings and cross-functional collaborations.
- Support laboratory maintenance and instrument performance.
- Manage procurement of laboratory consumables and raw materials.
- Participate in quality investigations and implement CAPA activities.
- Ensure compliance with documentation and archival requirements.
- Guide and mentor sub-team members to achieve project deliverables.
Requirements
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
Preferred Qualification
- Strong expertise in biologics characterization.
