Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Quality Control Executive to join our team. The role involves routine quality testing and documentation for herbal and nutraceutical supplements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine physicochemical, microbiological, and organoleptic testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Conduct sampling and analysis as per SOPs and regulatory guidelines (FSSAI/AYUSH/WHO-GMP).
- Maintain all QC records, logbooks, and data sheets with accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with the production team to resolve quality deviations or non-conformities.
- Conduct stability testing and assist in shelf-life studies.
- Ensure cleanliness and calibration of instruments (HPLC, UV-Vis, pH meter, etc.).
- Support documentation related to COAs, batch release, RM/PM specifications, etc.
- Follow good laboratory practices (GLP) and maintain lab hygiene and safety.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in QC, preferably in herbal/nutraceuticals/pharmaceuticals
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (FSSAI, GMP, ISO 22000 preferred)
- Basic knowledge of analytical instruments
