The DRDO ACEM Chemical Engineering Internship is a six-month paid Government Internship program designed for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students. Selected candidates will work on real-time defence research projects related to rocket propulsion systems, energetic materials, AI & Data Science, mechanical systems, and computer engineering applications. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5000

1. Minimum Education Qualifications: Undergraduate Engineer: Pursuing an Engineering Degree (7^th/8^th semester) or M.Tech (I^st/II^nd year) full-time course in the respective discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute.

2. Duration of Internship: The duration of internship/project work training will be for a period of 06 months. A Completion Certificate will be issued to students after completing 06 months from the date of joining the internship program.

3. Selection Procedure: Pursuing a graduate (7^th/8^th semester)/postgraduate engineering degree (I^st/II^nd year). The student should have a good academic track record with ≥85% marks or ≥ 8.5 on a scale of 10 (copy to be enclosed), completed with (first class with distinction) above 85% Marks from AICTE/UGC approved universities. The Principal/Director of the institution should provide the request letter only to highly deserving, meritorious students.

Selected students will have to submit the following documents at the time of joining:

• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from college authorities (in original) on college letterhead, mentioning that the student will be relieved for internship training at ACEM and that the student will be present for a minimum of 15 working days in a month for training.
• Police verification from the local police station. Acknowledgment received from the police station to be submitted at the time of joining (if selected).
• Undertaking for adherence to the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923.
• Undertaking that interns will follow IT rules and regulations applicable to the Ministry of Defence and its amendments thereof.
• Selected students need to provide the bank details for the transfer of the internship amount.
• Medical fitness certificate from authorized medical practitioners holding at least an MBBS degree.
• At the time of joining, the student is required to bring the Aadhar card (in Original) along with the college ID card for verification. They should also submit 03 passport-size photographs at the time of joining.
• All previous semesters’ mark sheets in the original for verification should be brought.
• Original documents will be returned immediately after verification.
• Any other documents, if required, will be communicated to the student at the time of selection/joining.
• An indemnity form will be provided by the college as and when required by ACEM.
